About the Role
Polymathian is looking for a part-time experienced professional to assist
with supporting the daily administrative and operational tasks of the
business. This role will be based at our head office in Brisbane to support
the growing needs of the senior leadership team and various product groups
across all facets of the business.
We are looking for a highly motivated, organised and enthusiastic team
player to make a positive impact within our business. The candidate must
possess excellent written and verbal communication skills coupled with the
ability to prioritise their workload.

Job Details
- 15-20 hours a week, required daily
- On-site at our South Brisbane office
- Eligible candidates must have full rights to work in Australia
Responsibilities

Plan, organise and provide support in the organisation of internal and
external events, training and meetings

Execute various administrative and or supportive tasks on behalf of the
managers and co-workers within the office
- Manage office stationery, consumables, equipment and furniture
-
Maintain a clean and organised office environment ensuring adherence to
OH&S standards
-
Assist the weekly sales and marketing processes to ensure timely reporting
to support stakeholders
- Plan and organise the travel requirements of the business
- Answer and assist with all phone enquiries

Assist with collation of expense claims and general accounting tasks
- Assist with HR related tasks to support the growth of the business

Assist with documentation and support systems that are both used
internally and externally
About You
Essential:
-
Minimum 2+ years' experience in office reception & administration role
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Ability to operate with minimal direction, prioritise work requirements
and effectively manage time

Capability to exercise initiative, problem solve and manage multiple
issues simultaneously
- Confidentiality assured for all documentation and meetings
- Tertiary level qualifications
Desired:
-
Exposure to heavy industries such as Mining, Supply Chain, Rail, Energy,
Oil & Gas or Maritime industries

Experience with online software such as Confluence, Jira, Wordpress,
Hubspot or Mailchimp
- Experience with managing social media channels
